I grew up in Japan Town in San Jose, California. As a kid, I loved going down to the local mom-and-pop Japanese grocery store and buy all sort of Japanese snacks and toys. Unfortunately that mom-and-pop grocery store is no longer there, but here in California there is a number of Japanese grocery stores.
