By not closing Guantanamo Bay as he promised in the 2008 presidential campaign and by signing the National Defense Authorization Act of 2013, by ordering the death by drone of American citizens, and many other acts President Obama has proved that he has not been the president of change Americans had hoped for. President Obama has not been a better president than President Bush, and in fact President Obama’s administration has followed to the letter many of Bush’s policies. It can safely be said that President Obama has been a disappointment as a president and that he is a token president.
After a tragedy or attack, politicians are always quick to try to pass laws and pundits are quick to speculate as to a motive. What neither the public, politicians, and pundits understand is that this is the new world order. As a people we are programmed to try to split hairs between us versus then, but in reality there is no difference between any one of us just as there is no difference between a tornado rolling through Oklahoma City or Hurricane Sandy flooding New York City, just like there is no difference between the bombing in the Boston Marathon or a drone strike in Yemen, there is no difference between a Syrian rebel eating the heart of his enemy and the FBI killing a detained suspect during routine questioning, there is no difference between spontaneous protests and terrorist attacks, there is no difference between underwear bombs and laser guided bombs, there is no difference between conquering in the name of Allah or destroying in the name of shareholders, there is no difference between ethnic cleansing and foreign policy, there is no difference between the master race and the chosen people, there is no difference between crime and punishment, there is no difference between reality television and news programs, there is no difference between propaganda and an official press release, there is no difference between a government and gang, there is no difference between any of this and any of this doesn’t make a difference. Welcome of the new world order, welcome to the future.
Can you imagine how different our world would be if a large imposing government had stepped in to regulate the manufacture, sale, and use of the Gutenberg’s printing press? We would still be living in the dark ages. 3D printing technology is poised to have a similar affect on our society as the Gutenberg’s printing press had on medieval Europe but the US government and American corporations such as Disney want to restrict and regulated the technology. 3D will change the world and the trajectory of human development for the better.
If Darwin had not have come up with the idea of evolution, some one else would. If Newton didn’t invent calculus, another person would have. If Edison didn’t perfect the electricity and the light bulb, someone else would have invented them. If Einstein had not have thought of the idea of special relativity then some other individual would have. In similar fashion, if Genghis Khan would not have carve his empire by killing millions of men, women, and children and crushing thousand of different peoples’, someone else would else would have.
All human events been triggered by like something like a historical Chekhov’s gun, or musket if you will. as Chekhov is quoted as saying, “If you say in the first chapter that there is a rifle hanging on the wall, in the second or third chapter it absolutely must go off. If it’s not going to be fired, it shouldn’t be hanging there.”
And so, throughout human history, guns have continually been keep so as for an individual to pick it up and fire it. Each time it is fired, the consequences cause for another gun to be built and subsequently placed on the wall just high enough for some else to come a long and dare to pick it up.
Recently at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, people were asked to tweet with the hashtag #nerdprom. Of course, #nerdprom was the wrong hashtag for the event. A more appropriate hashtag would have been #doucheprom. But the White House complicit correspondents are not the only ones attempting to appropriate the word nerd. Just about anyone that says they like video games or idiotically repeats internet memes like “May the Fourth be with you” think of themselves as true nerds. Since when did being a nerd become cool? But being a nerd is just like being cool, if you say you are a nerd you most like aren’t a nerd. Case in point, the Nerdist podcast. There is nothing nerd about the Nerdist podcast, instead of talking nerd the folks behind the Nerdist podcast mostly interview E-level Hollywood celebrities from the E! studios. Instead of being a true die hard dual-core nerd, Chris Hardwick is a Ryan Seacrest imitator and wannabe. Going to Comic-con to exploit nerds does not make one a nerd.
Her majesty, emphasis on jest, gave her Queen Elizaborg gave her Queen’s Speech and basically said nothing amongst all the proper posh, pomp, and pageantry. Here is basically what she said…
My lords and members of the house of commons, my government will collectively live in a royal fantasy land with unicorns and fairies. My government is committed to build an economy where people that work hard are properly rewarded, unlike the we the British royals that don’t work at all and reward ourselves. My government will create jobs, jobs, jobs out of lead. My government will bring forward legislation to have the common people to keep calm and carry on. My government will tax without representation. My government will continue to meddle in the Middle East and African continent. My government will ensure the good governance and development of the overseas legacy of colonization, including by protecting the Falkland islanders rights to self delusion. My lords and members of the house of commons, I pay that the blessing of the All Mighty God may rest upon your consuls
To me, it almost doesn’t matter if the Boston Marathon bombings was a False Flag operation or not. Either way, the Department of Homeland Security, the FBI, the Massachusetts State Police, Boston Marathon organizers, and the numerous other government agencies and non government organizations failed the marathon runners, marathon spectators, Boston residents, and American citizens.
After a four day manhunt, the city of Boston is returning back to normal after the Boston Marathon bombing. As the people of Boston and its sounding area take a collective sigh of relief, politicians, pundits, and security experts will start to analyze the events leading to the Boston Marathon bombings as well as what we can learn from these events. So what can we, as a nation, learn from the Boston Marathon bombings?
The Incompetence of the DHS
There is no other way to say it other than the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has proven once again that is a ineffective at keeping Americans safe. The DHS is completely incompetent, inept, and inefficient. Given the DHS more money and powers won’t help either, it just magnifies how useless the department is. There were so many points of failure that the full report of this incident will rival the 9/11 report.
The Bureaucratic Bureau of Investigation
The FBI doesn’t normally release all of the information it has gather regarding an on going investigation. Police agencies often hold back information so as to not tip off the perpetrators. That said, the Boston Marathon bombing showed how bureaucratic the bureau of investigation is. I am surprised at how long it took for the FBI to identify and release information on the bombing suspects. Two bombs went off during the Boston Marathon on April 15, 2013 but it took over three days for the FBI to release video footage and grainy still images of the suspects. What the FBI finally released was grainy and difficult to make out, it took the sleuthing of online forums to dig up a high resolution image of the suspects at the crime scene.
Within an hour of the bombings, the FBI should have made a big push to collect every photo and video taken at the Boston Marathon minutes before and after the tragic event. Nowadays, everyone is carrying around smart phones with cameras and at events like the Boston Marathon there are hundreds of people taking hundreds of pictures from every which angle. The FBI should have made a bigger push to collect every photo taken by every person attending the race. Once a suspect can be identify, all you have to do is upload the images to iPhoto and have iPhoto’s facial recognition feature find every photo where the suspect is in and even create a nice timeline.
The Boston Marathon bombings have clearly revealed that the FBI is lagging in the technical ability to leverage technology and the intelligence of the crowd accordingly. The FBI’s most trusted technology for receiving information on crimes is the tip phone line.
Crowd Sourcing Intelligence and Ignorance
Soon after the bombings, social media sites like Reddit sprang into action, analyzing pictures and gathering information on potential suspects. Because the FBI had release so little information early on in the investigation, the online community took matters into their own hands came to their own conclusions… which proved mostly incorrect.
Even though Reddit and other online communities were often wrong when come up with conclusions, they there the go to source for real time information. Watching CNN or other network news stations was painfully difficult to do. Network news stations don’t do good journalism anymore, they just have idiotic talking heads making up conjectures and asking stupid questions. The Boston bombings make it evidently clear that the news networks approach to breaking news is broken. There is a huge need for a true real-time crowd-sourced federated news social media forum.
Network News Nonsense
The news networks are complete incompetent mumbling talentless idiots. The American news networks don’t show any real information, don’t report on real news, don’t do real journalism, and don’t ask intelligent questions. News network anchors are idiotic talking heads in front of a blue screen, they replay the same stock footage over and over, they bring on retired ‘experts’ that make unfounded conjectures, and often report on stale and inaccurate information.
No matter the crime scene, you have that idiot news reported talking to a friend of neighbor of the suspect. The reporter always asks the same dumb questions and the neighbors often say the same thing, “he was a nice quiet kid, all American kid, I never suspected anything like this from the suspects, he was a nice kid, as American as anyone, smokes a little weed here and there, he is an angel, he was compassionate, caring, jovial, forth coming, a lovely kid, he was not capable of this, outstanding athlete, never a trouble maker, joyful and caring kid, likable guy, had a million friends, I never suspected the suspect, he never had any problems with the police, loved animals and long walks on the beach.”
The United States of the Middle East
The United States just shifted a bit closer to the Middle East. Because of the myopic, callous, and illogical foreign policies of the United States in the Islamic world, which includes droning of innocent civilians. The United States, through its foreign policies, has poked and provoked, and possible opened Pandora’s box of terror. Roadside bombs, cafe bombs, improvised explosives, mortar attacks, drone double tap strikes, and rocket attacks is something that people in countries like Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq, and Israel worry about every day. The DHS has proven that it cannot keep Americans safe. Because of the security theater we now live in, anytime two people gather in public, it will be seen as either a security threat or security target.
The War on Terror
The War on Terror is designed to have no final outcome, there won’t be a signed armistice, no peace treaty. So who is winning the War on Terror? If you keep score with body bags, then the United States is winning. If you keep score on what this war has done to the deficit and national debt, then the military-industrial-complex is winning.
The Cost of Failure
The DHS failed the American people. The FBI failed the people of Boston. The system failed, completely, utterly, epic face palm failure. But what people don’t realize is that the DHS and the FBI is designed to fail. The survival of the DHS depends on its failure, and just like “too big to fail”Wall Street banks the DHS will be rewarded with more money because of its failure. The whole paradigm of expecting the US government and a bunch of bureaucratic politicians to protect Americans from made up terrorists is doomed to failure, it will always fail. The system is intentionally designed to fail, its survival depends on it failing so that it can then turn around and ask more power and money from tax paying citizens.
From time to time, President Obama makes archaic executive orders where he starts off as the following…
By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, and consistent with the provisions of the Federal Advisory Committee Act, as amended (5 U.S.C. App.), it is hereby ordered as follows
Just imagine if everyone spoke in this pompous slimeball superfluous legalese sort of way. I imagine President Obama walking around the White House with a speech writer and a teleprompter making such executive decrees whenever he pleases…
By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, the Nobel Peace Price, my tribesmen of Kenya, and consistent with the provisions of the Federal Advisory Committee Fun Fact Act as amended (5 U.S.C. App.), it is hereby ordered as follows… I can has a cheeseburger.
Unlike President Obama, I don’t have a kill list. In fact, I don’t even believe in capital punishment. That said I do think that there are some people that offer very little value to the embitterment of the human race. World wide, there are an estimated 7 billion people and sometimes it feels that at least least 2 billion of them are douchebags. Here is a short list of idiots, bots, clones, drones, bullies, trolls, elitist, bourgeoisie, and douchebags that I would not mind if they just drop dead from some natural cause… Or freak accident.
